ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi – Dalhousie

From Delhi the guests will commence their journey to the pristine city of Dalhousie. An erstwhile British Summer capital,Dalhousie with Amritsar Dalhousie has been endowed with magnificent Victorian style structures by its colonial rulers. The colonial mansions are now accompanied by modern hotels and posh localities. Stroll in the region and indulge in the picturesque beauty of Dalhousie.

 

Day 2: Dalhousie

The day at Dalhousie will be free for leisure; one can just explore the vast and pristine surroundings of Dalhousie. You can visit Panjpulla, Subash Bowli, and Stature Falls. Overnight stay at Hotel.

 

Day 3: Dalhousie- Chamba – Khajjiar- Dalhousie

After breakfast proceed to Chamba, located on the right bank of the river Ravi. It is well known for its splendid architecture and as the base for numerous excursions. It is also a district headquarter.

The day post visit to Chamba, brings a trip to Khajjiar. Khajjiar is a part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times have become relatively difficult to spot nowadays, but with a little precision and guidance of an expert you can spot these species here at Khajjar. The sanctuary surrounded by mountainous trees of coniferous, Oak, Deodar and Fir is home to various endangered species of birds. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to Khajjair. Within the temple are life-size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers. Spend an entire day exploring the natural splendor of the region and in the evening head back towards your hotel at Dalhousie for an overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Dalhousie – Amritsar

After breakfast we proceed to Amritsar. The city of Sikhism’s holiest of shrine the Golden Temple, Amristar glitters with its gold plated gurudwara and the holy pool considered the pool of immorality by the devotees. On arrival in the city you will encounter a great contrast of frenetic old lanes and grand hotels and modern alleys of the city. Evening in the city will be free for leisure activities. Day 5: Amritsar

Next day at Amritsar visit a historic site, Jallianwala Bagh which houses a memorial to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators by British official. Bow to Hindu deity at Durgiana Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga before you head back to your hotel in Amritsar. Post this sightseeing tour guests will be heading back for their journey homewards.
