For six months every year, the Himalayan valleys of Kinnaur and Spiti emerge from a thick cloak of snow to reveal a different, secret world to man. Your discovery of the lesser-known Himalayas can begin at the Banjara Camp in the Sangla Valley. At a height of 2,700 mts the Banjara Camp is surrounded by towering mountains on all sides and is set on the banks of the Baspa river that surges through the valley.
Leave Delhi after early breakfast. Enjoy the journey, driving through beautiful landscapes and reach Chail. Night stay in Camp/Hotel.
Kick start your morning with drive to Banjara Camp, Sangla. Halt at Rampur for lunch. Drive en route pass Narkanda-highest point on the Hindustan Tibet road.
Visit Chitkul (3450m) - 20kms from the Camp. This is the last village on the Indo-Tibetan trade route. You can also choose to walk upto Nagasthi (4kms)- one of the last Indian outposts.
Indulge in adventurous sports like Paragliding or River Crossing. Or just take a leisure walk to the glacier point. Later in the evening enjoy Bonfire or get involved in some leisure activities.
While driving to Tabo, Visit Nako en route. Enjoy the experience of Cold Desert at Puh. Night stay in Banjara Camp by the riverside will leave you amazed and bewildered.
Visit millennium old Tabo monastery in the morning. Post lunch, visit kibber & ki to see some exquisite ancient paintings and sculptures.
Today, start from Tabo to visit Kalpa and experience panoramic view of the Kinner Kailash massif. Enjoy the night stay in the hotel.
Start your drive from Kalpa to lush green Shoja over 2683M high Jalori pass. Check into hotel/guest house to get refreshed for your next adventurous move.
Drive through Banjar, Aut and Kullu to Manali & check into the hotel to relax and enjoy the view of high peaks and valleys.
After a week long journey, this day is reserved for leisure and local sightseeing.
After early breakfast, drive down to Delhi or Chandigarh.
